1. Who We Are

The Inkwell Society is a creative writing platform designed for youth contributors aged 10 and older. We provide a space for young authors to share their original stories, poems, and creative ideas with a public audience. Submissions are reviewed by an editorial panel before publication.

2. Age Requirements

Only individuals aged 10 or older may submit content to the Inkwell Society. We comply with Canada's privacy laws and are mindful of international laws such as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We require that all users submitting content confirm they meet the minimum age requirement and submit only a pen name.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the website and publish creative content:

- Pen Name: A required pseudonym for public display of submitted content.
- Submitted Content: Written works such as stories, poems, or articles.

We do not collect real names, email addresses, website analytics, or any other personal data.

4. Copyright Policy

- Contributors retain full copyright over their original submissions.
- By submitting content, you grant the Inkwell Society a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, promote, and archive the content on https://inkwell.club.
- Authors are free to republish their work elsewhere at any time.

Submissions must be original and not infringe upon any third-party copyrights. Use of AI tools is allowed only if the final content is substantially original and human-authored.

5. Submission and Review

- All content is reviewed by an editorial panel before publication.
- The panel may accept, reject, or request revisions based on literary quality, originality, and alignment with community standards.
- Only content submitted with a pen name will be considered for publication.
- Real names or personal details should not be included in the content or author field.
- Published content is publicly visible, including the pen name.

The editorial panel's decisions are final.
